Does that surprise you? And if it does, how big of a rock have you been living under?

I know this. If a person of my skin color kills two innocent people, I want them locked up away from society. Because I have decency and character and want what's best for society. It would be of no benefit to my race at all to have a killer walking the streets. But then again, I'm not biased, racist and stupid.

It wasn't a confession book. Anyway, I don't really care what OJ does and I find it hilarious that you too, have used OJ to create pedestal for yourself - now we know you're an idiot!

Sshh! Dint you know you cant speak badly about blacks. Black people were not happy when OJ Simpson was acquitted because they thought he was innocent and justice was done. They were happy because the white community got one right in between the eyes. As for the 7 out of 9 who think he is innocent, they consider it selling out one of their own.

I believe he definitely did it, but if he'd been convicted it would have been a horrible precedent to set. There was not enough evidence, and the police blatantly framed him; if the jury hadn't acquitted him, there would be many more innocent people in jail today.

So, although he should be locked up, he should not have been locked up based on the evidence presented at the trial.

That's my 2 cents anyway.

I wonder if as many blacks really think he's innocent as think this is payback for medger evers, sam cooke, etc. I'm one of the 30% and I looked at it the other way; I know the feeling of seeing Evers & cooke's murderers get off, so why would I want to see Nicole's murderer get off?

I am not black so I am probably not qualified to answer this. However, the justice system acquitted him. If he really did the crime, it is not his fault that he got acquitted. Somebody in the justice system messed up or just can't find the evidence.

I am not a lawyer either but I think you cannot put him to trial again for the same crime because of double jeopardy.

That is not true at all. Those focus groups arent accurate. As a black woman I cant stand OJ. I believe he is guilty and so does my family. Dont believe everything you hear

first of all it wasnt a confession book it was hypothetical called "IF I DID IT" but O.J wasnt allowed to release the book and the goldmans got ownership of it and changed the title to make it seem like O.J. was confessing and all black people believe he had something to do with but he didnt do it and we didnt really care in the first place we was never on his side we were cheering for Johnnie Cochran who was playing the game better F*ck O.J.

So, what do you think about the W. Virginia torture case? Was it a hate crime?

BTW, I never really cared about OJ's troubles.

so anyone who believes OJ is innocent is biased, racist and stupid?
***he got off, they couldn't prove him guilty. just because he didn't do it doesn't mean he doesn't know who did it.

I am African-American and let me clarify that we don't actually believe that OJ is innocent. We just don't admit publicly that he did it!
