I use PCs because there is more bang for the money spent and I have lots of PC experience with both the hardware and all flavors of Windoze.
I use dual-booting of either XP and Linux or Vista and Linux. My spouse doesn't know beans about computing, other than it is supposed to work, and gets ticked when it doesn't, but can't be bothered to learn to fix things (or even care about the whys), so Linux only is out for our shared machines. I am insterested in Linux because I am interested in computing, and I like the power of Linux. There are some games that I play that are Windoze only. Almost all of the work-related software I use is available for both Windoze and Linux.
I don't use Mac because my exposure to Mac in the past has not been that compelling, I don't know how to fix a Mac if something goes wrong on the software or hardware side, and I don't care to buy into over-priced small market share products, unless there is a good reason to do so - and so far there isn't any reason for me to do so. If someone gave me a Mac I would accept it, and try to learn to use it, but spend my money on one? WHY?

all linux and bsd on 5 PC machines I wont use windows anymore its just to riddled with viruses and flaws

i use a compaq. but if ur gunna buy one, build one. u will save money and can b upgraded later on.
windows XP professional.... at least til they work the bugs out of Vista.
