Yes, very much so. I had to do a "great escape" with my mom last year. I swear she would be dead today if I didn't. The doctors kept telling me to leave her in because she was a very very sick, but it was that place that was doing it. I told them we are leaving.

Although it is normal for a tattoo to peel when healing, you may want to visit your doctor or dermatologist. It is very rare but there are people who have an allergic reaction strickly to red ink. The symptoms you are describing do sound like those of an allergic reaction. In the 17 years I have been involved with the industry I have seen it about 15 - 20 times. Try putting on A&D ointment or Triple Anti-biotic ointment, the Jergens should not have been used before it was completely healed. Lotions woth perfumes and dyes can also irritate a fresh tattoo.

I agree completely. Had surgery where they cut the back of my neck to remove quite a bit of bone and make repairs, they didn't close the would as they should have. The incision was up to the base of my brain, I developed an infection. I had a high fever, cerebral spinal fluid was leaking from my brain all over the bandage. They closed the wound and sent me home. I had a massive infection, they didn't sent me home without antibiotics. Had to go back and have the infection drained. They gave me antibiotics which triggered an allergic reaction.
