For my A.P. Lit class I have to read a classic literary work. I am not sure what to read. I know I want the book I read to be a love story. I was thinking Pride & Prejudice or Wuthering Heights. Any other suggestions?

Pride and Prejudice is great. Wuthering Heights is depressing. If you like love stories you might also like "Jane Eyre".

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte is definitely a classic and it's a romance story too. It may start out slow, but keep pushing through because it gets a lot better. I had to read it for my AP English class so I'm sure it would be very acceptable.

The Catcher in the Rye is a brilliant modern classic. It's not a love story though.

Dracula--it has love, danger and best of all Vampires. It is written in a uniqe style that will let you report on that part alone. Also, it is a great read, at home, in the dark, when you are alone, all alone......what was that sound?

Really, great book
