ok here ya go... I know which one you were thinking of and no I have never caught anything from a litter box
it has been thought that conjunctivitis caused by chlamydia can also be spread to humans. It is however, not the same chlamydia that causes the more well-known STD in humans. In any case, it would be wise to practice careful hygiene when treating or handling a sick cat, and definitely to keep fingers away from your eyes. If you do contract conjunctivitis after treating a cat with chlamydia, you need to mention that fact to your opthamologist.

there is a TINY possibility you could but its not likely. If your cat has an std, and they get butt juice in the litter box, you clean it and it transmits to your body, you go to the bathroom and wipe your ***...there ya go!

Uhh...no STD means sexually transmitted disease which means they can only be transmitted through any kind of sex or contact with the genitals,body fluid,blood etc.
