it came on tbs the other night i hadnt seen that movie in years shelly long is in it from cheers. beverly hills what a thrill!!!!!!!!!

OMG, I LOVE that movie!!! I have been looking for it everywhere on DVD, but I don't think they've released it yet. It came out when I was about 9 or 10, and I was a Girl Scout at the time, so I adored it. I would have totally dug Girl Scouts a whole lot more if I could have earned badges in shopping and hairstyles, LOL.

Yes, I remember it from 1989. I love the part where the troop leader (played by Shelley Long) made up cool badges, like one for shopping. I thought that was hilarious. She also mentioned something about the bed linen being 250-thread count per inch and, at the time, that must have been really good quality. Sooo... I went out and bought all new bed linen that was 250-count (still use 'em). Now you can buy linens that are 300-count or better.

Yea Its a hilarious movie, I love the part where she tells the girls a horror story about the hair salon.

I thought it was funny when they were selling those cookies in front of that gym LOL. And those badges they made were true to lifestyle of the time. yeah I like that movie too.

That was the funniest movie I ever saw about Girl Scouts...it's my all time favorite.
