The veracity of this claim is true just by looking around this site. Earlier today I was looking at articles about the immorality and supposed damaging effect porn has on kids, and I saw one satirical answer which was immediately refuted. Do you guys not understand humor? Did you not learn how to laugh as kids? Weigh in on this ****, but try not to freak out.

understanding Satire requires being able to laugh at ourselves or find the clever nuance directed at something and deem it worthy of thought. And since this is a forum that some take seriously even too seriously, The opinions of our own intellect have built a wall too high for humor and insight to pass reasonably unscathed.The only real sad thing here is it is borderless,it occurs everywhere a person needs to be right instead of happy.

You may not know this, but there are people everywhere with sticks up their Yahoo! Answers. Further, your question doesn’t seem to contain any jokes. I can only assume that people from where ever you are from aren't funny and like to use broad generalizations to rationalize their preemptive viewing of other cultures as being secondary to their own. In other news, porn rocks, especially for kids.

That was incredibly rude of you to stereotype the entire nation, based on one comment made by one person ( BTW, he might of been posing as American). Would not that be funny, if he or she was actually from your own country ( or it is not possible, because ALL of you are brilliantly sharp witted )? Remember: Americans are human, which means different. Some of us are ignorant and silly ( don't you have them in your own country?), but others are intelligent and extraordinarily hilarious... Open your mind dear, and become a happier man for it.

american ego is incredibly soft and easy to bruise hence there are very few self degrading jokes about americans
this is why it is sooooo much fun to disagree on this site
to laugh at yourself enables one to truly appreciate good humour
