I don't think there is anything wrong with your daughter. Every child takes their own time in these things. My daughter didn't sit up on her own until nearly 6 months. She didn't crawl until almost 11 months. Now she is 13 months and hasn't yet walked on her own, although she does stand and walk around using the furniture. Some babies just take their time. Do you give her a lot of tummy time? Try sitting her in between your legs with some toys in front of her to help strengthen her stomach muscles for sitting. Good luck!

No four month old does these things. She should be able to roll over, but that's about it--no scooting, crawling, or even sitting at this point. No worries. She should start sitting by 6-8 mos. Some babies never scoot or crawl and go straight to walking. Every child is different.

Not many 4 month old children can crawl or scoot. Most are just learning to roll at this age. Don't push it. There is nothing wrong with your child.

Our twins rolled over around 3 months, sat up about 4 1/2 - 5 months, and crawled at 7-8 months. They are 9 months now and are non stop crawling everywhere, pulling themselves up to standing, and walking around objects as they hold onto them.

She's supposed to crawl around 7 months. She isn't late until 11 months. My son rolled over at 3-1/2 months, but my daughter was much later. Sitting up occurs around 6 months. She's not a late walker until 13 months.

Calm down. You daughter is entitled to a little more time to develop these skills. You're a great mom, really. Just play with her, talk to her and love her. She'll be okay.

My son was born on May 30 and he doesn't crawl, scoot, roll over or sit up by himself. All babies develop differently. I think that maybe by month 5 you'll start to see some major changes. That's usually when babies begin to scoot and roll over. But if your child isn't on track, don't worry about it. Just keep raising a happy, healthy child.

Nothing is wrong with your baby. Stop reading the magazines and listening to all the moms that say their children were up walking and potty trained by a certain age. Children develop differently dont judge yours by what others her age are able to do. Make sure your giving her"tummy" time if she hates being on the hard floor do it on the bed next to you. My son surely wasnt crawling at 4 months of age or sitting up by herself. Now if she was 14 months and not doing any of that you should be concerned

There is nothing wrong with your baby. My son was 6 months before he rolled over and he developed fine in all other areas. I always said a saying whenever I was worried about a particular milestone. Your child will not be 18 and not know how to....(roll over, crawl, walk ect.). Enjoy it now b/c before long your child will be all over the place and that is when the fun begins!!

Babies develop and do things when they are ready. My daughter started sitting up between 4-5 months but was still wobbly. She didn't crawl till later and didnt' start walking until she was 15 months old. One of my brothers didn't crawl till he was closer to 12 months. Just be patient and work w/her whenever you can and when she is ready...off she will go. I always wanted my daughter to crawl and walk soon and when she did I was like oh my she was so much easier to take care of when she laid there..lol Be patient and nothing is wrong.

Please don't be paranoid!!! So many people have their own opinions that a child should be doing thus and such by certain ages. Your little girl will do things as she is ready! As she interacts with you and others she will start growing into the next stages.
If you are seriously concerned about this then see her pediatrician, but I do believe that she is just fine. Don't rush her...it will happen sooner than you think and when it does you will wonder what happened to te days of her being more immobile. :)
You are not dong anything wrong at all! Just enjoy being mommy and enjoy your little girl.

Babies will learn when they are ready. My son is Four months old and he can't do any of that stuff either. They usaully don't start doing any of that stuff at this age. Wait another month for them to be able to roll over, wait till about five or six month before you start worrying about making your baby sit up on their own, and wait another month or so to make them start crawling. Your baby is fine, don't stress!!!!!
