I don't like most kids I meet. If a kid says something smart to me i want to strangle it or if I see one in a restaraunt somewhere crying my mind is ready to explode and im ready to scream . Would I like my own?

Yes.

People only hate other peoples kids, its a universal truth. People like you actually make good parents because you will teach your kids not to be obnoxious little brats.

Do you personally KNOW any children?

Ask yourself:

Why do you want them? What do you expect to gain by being a father? Life gives back to you what you're looking for. Did your Dad like you? Were you a good 'child'? What training do you have as a care provider?

Remember, you can't give them back. It would be a disservice to bring a child into this world and then abandon it. If this is the way you feel presently-- then don't do it.

If you really want children you must go into training. Get a plant and take care of it. If it is still living after six months, then get a pet, like a gold fish, or dog. If it is still healthy after a year then you're ready to move on to something bigger. Become a big brother, or mentor.

You get the picture. If you ever expect a decent outcome as a possible father then this type of training will be a great gift to yourself!

Good luck and I don't want to see your 'kid' in the principal's office too much or on the 'most wanted list' other wise you've failed your child and society.

lol. I always felt the same way, before I had my daughter. Now when I look at her dear face crying, I could give my life to make her feel better. You own child will make all the difference in the world.

Hopefully paternal instinct would take over, and you would develop a love for your own chldren like nothing you've ever experianced before. Hopefully though, their mommy is very patient, and will let you escape from the house once in awhile if the little ones tend to be too much :)

I kind of felt the same way. I didn't want to hold anyone of my friend's children, I didn't want to play with them or anything. Once I had my own, I just want to play with her and hold her all of the time. It's different when you have your own children.

I would suspect that you will probably feel this way about your own kids too...
