I would change the ending to John Carpenter's (classic) The Thing. ;) Yes, I would. Here's how I would've had it end:
As you probally know, The Thing ends with RJ MacReady & Childs being the only 2 survivors left; and neither of them knows for sure weither or not one of them has 'the thing' inside them. They look at each other and the movie ends. I would have extended the ending to then fade-to-white and the next scene would be a New York City court room, where both MacReady & Childs are on trial for the murders of their friends back in Antartica. While MacReady is on the stand trying to convince the judge and jury 'the thing' DID exist (and while they're laughing and shaking their heads). MacReady loses his temper and screams "The Thing was real. It got inside of them. It became them!" All of sudden, Childs, who is awaiting his turn to take the stand next, starts shaking in his seat. Everyone in the courtroom screams! THE THING shoots out of Child's body towards the camera and then screen cuts-to-black and goes silent. We hear MacReady calmly mutter "Oh S&l#". End credits roll.
This would have set the classic movie up for the enevitable sequel 'Escape With The Thing From New York' ;P

the movie the birds. I hate that alfred HIthchcock never ended his movies very well. I would so make it have an ending that you know how everything was resloved. I don't care if it was that the birds all died or the people all died or that everything went back to normal. i just want a decent ending.

Ok I had to look on my Netflix list I would change the end to Life is Beautiful...It broke my heart the boys father was killed

in 16 blocks they have an alternative ending option n the alternative is soooo much better than the ending they put in the movie. its more realistic n i think it sends out a better msg to the ppl n it ties up all the lose ends.

One Flew Over the Cuckoos nest.
Not the Chief...he was cool but Jacks character losing his mind and being suffocated...I would have changed it so the Chief breaks the window as usual but escapes holding Jack over his shoulder (sedated though!) and both of them escaping over the horizon!
