I went through a bout of getting uti's for like a few months...literally every two weeks i would have another one.
Usually it would start out that i had the urge to urinate CONSTANTLY. I would go to the bathroom...get back to my class and then i literally had to get up again and go. Even though i went to the bathroom every five minutes, I was barely urinating...it was more of an urge, but a very believable one.
Usually it would burn like a mother, and if i left it too long before i made it to the doctor for treatment, there would be blood in my urine.
My advice would be to get to the doctor to get a prescription..and then keep up with cranberry juice..you can even go into your local drugstore and pick up cranberry pills, and other preventatives for uti's...good luck!

Honestly, it could be a UTI, but it could just as easily be a yeast infection, BV, trichomonaisis, or something else. You need a urine screen, and if that comes back negative, a pelvic. If it IS a UTI, after the doctor gives you antibiotics, take some Uristat or AZO Standard, and the pain will go away (don't take it before the screen, it'll screw up the results) and take cranberry supplements. The supplements are better than juice because most cranberry juices contain a lot of sugar.

You poor thing!! It's nasty. Pain in the pelvic area, frequent urination (very frequent), a feeling of not emptying the bladder completely, the burning you have spoken about, cloudy urine, perhaps even some blood in the urine.
You can drink Citrus Soda with plenty of other fluids, or you can see a doctor. Whatever you do, don't leave it too long because a urinary tract infection can travel to your kidneys and then you will know all about it - shivers, temperature, etc. You don't want to go there...!

i've had way to many u.t.i.s to want to remember. usually, it's a constant feeling of having to go to the bathroom, painful urination, no relief afterward, the urine may be darker than usual, it may have a different odor. if you experience these symptoms along with any fever, back or stomach pain, or nausea/vomitting go to the hospital immediately. you may have the start of a kidney infection.
regardless, you must go to the doctor to get an accurate treatment. there are strips at the drugstore that can test for uti, but a doctor must prescribe antibiotics for you to get over the infection. do not wait! i waited, was close to kidney failure, and the infection and fever knocked out some of my hearing in my left ear.
GO TO THE DOCTOR!

any pain or discomfort with urination doctors would compare to a UTI, sometimes urine tests will not show if u have a uti or not, doctors could go with ur symptoms. if ur having "burnin"sensation during urination or discomfort u prob.have a uti(which should be treated with meds-antibiotics that would be)- but it could also lead to be something else, so go see ur gyne-ob get a check up-get some urine test done and see from there what ur having.
i had a UTI before my symptoms where-discomfort during urination-burning during urination-discomfort in lower abdominal and when urinating i felt like i was taking little breaks during it would come then stop-then come again-
.(got some antibiotics-and was good in 3days) good luck.

You don't have a uti. You sound like you have a venereal disease. Go to the doctor and get some antibiotics. A uti usually makes you wanna got to the bathroom a lot. Sometimes you feel like you have to urinate when you don't and you might get a discharge in your panties. Similar to a yeast infection. But nothing in your vagina area should be burning. Go to the doctor STAT!

A urinary tract infection (UTI) is a bacterial infection of the bladder, kidneys, ureters, or urethra. Together, these organs and tubes make up the urinary tract. Most UTIs are either bladder infections or kidney infections.
UTIs are rarely serious when they occur in otherwise healthy adults. However, they have the potential to cause permanent kidney damage or life-threatening infection if they are not treated promptly, especially in people who have medical conditions that may complicate the infection.
If there any problems that you might. Ask your doctor, about this?

frequency, needing to go a lot: urgency, needing to go right now: burning with urination; strong odor, change in color, urine looking cloudy instead of clear, or with a pink tinge to it. All these are symptoms of UTI. Not something to fool around with, the infection can travel to your kidneys and cause pyleonephritis and land you in the hospital for days.

If it's a yeast infection, you may also have a white cottage cheese-like discharge. If it's a bladder infection, you may also experience lower back pain. For the former, you can use one of the over-the-counter anti-fungal medications containing miconazole (Monistat is one brand name). For the latter, you may need to see your physician for a prescription antibiotic. If you try an over the counter medication and don't see results within a few days, see your physician -- it might be more serious.

All of what are being listed are correct. I have had plenty in my life time and only had one kidney to play with. Due to this factor my only kidney was ruined due to chronic UTI's that were left untreated properly. This is nothing to play around with, go get them checked out. Once you are done with the medication, get your urine rechecked to make sure it's gone. This was my mistake which took my only kidney.
Good Luck!
