Of course not - you went to the trouble to cook for me, I'm not going to insult you by telling you the food was bad! Besides, it's a subjective thing - what I thought was lousy, someone else might really love. But - next time we get together, I'LL cook, okay? LOL

It depends. If you're really enjoying it, then I would eat it, and be thankful that a nice lady went to the trouble to cook for me. I'd just have another glass of wine and eat it and smile..
If I can tell you don't like it, I would say something like, "I think the spice is off on this... lets go out to eat!" :-)
