I have a memorex traveldrive. I've used it before but now it wants to be formatted.?

How can I keep or download the documents I've stored on the drive?

Not familiar with Memorex, but what I would do is:
create a folder on the desktop to hold all the files you want from the flashdrive
Edit, Select all, Copy (bo be safe)
Open the folder and paste

now you can format the Memorex with no worries.
