... I have been trying to sell a land lot property (located in Monticello, GA) but the market has been sooooo bad that i havent had any offers. I am a couple of thousand dollars in debt and up to now, selling the land and getting some money out of it is the only thing i feel will help me pay for my credit card debt. Does anyone have any clever ideas to pay off my debt or to sell my land???

If you owe on more than one credit card, make the minimum payment on all of them except the one with the lowest balance. Pay every single extra nickel you have towards that card. Take a sack lunch to work instead of going out for lunch. Give up playing the lottery. Carpool to work instead of buying gas and driving alone, or ride a bike if you can. Give up the parties on weekends, stop buying booze or wine, stop buying cigarettes, too. Every extra nickel goes towards the card with the lowest balance.

When that's paid off, take all the money that went towards that card and put it towards the next highest balance. Keep on doing this until they're paid off.

well, the first step would be to set up a budget. i have 2 different budgets for myself, one to declare how much money in my check will go for what, and the other one is to track how much i actually spent on that stuff. it'll take a while to catch up to all your credit card debt using a budget, but in the long run it'll help A LOT. you'll soon realize that you have more money than you thought possible. now, as far as the selling of the land... no tricks can sell it, you just gotta wait it out. i'm now sure how you feel, but i think you should lower the price to match other lands in your area, but if you think it's too low don't put it any lower. If your price is cheap, people will think the land is cheap as well, plus you won't get much profit out of it.
