I want connect a pc to my new tv using a vga cable how do i get the sound to come through the TV speakers.

vga will only provide picture, if your computer does not have av outputs, then get a 1/8" cable to goes to rca jacks

put the 1/8" into your headphone jack and the rca jack into the tv

By hooking up the red/white composite input jacks on TV to your audio out of your sound card.

typically you have to connect a cable in the back of your computer, from audio out plug on the TV card to an audio in plug on the sound card
