I wore glasses all my life, yes wearing of tight glasses from a young age can cause this condition, much like people streaching sckin over time or lengthening their necks with rings, growth can also be stunted.
The damage has been done however and cannot grow now, corrective surgery is the only option here.

Apparently our noses (and ears) continue to grow throughout our lives.. and certainly things do remodel with time (apparently all the bones in our face get replaced every 10 years!) Therefore, to answer your questions... I think that the dents on the sides of your nose would improve (? go away) with time if you wear contacts. I think that your glasses pinching your nose could have affected your nose shape to some degree... but I would have to look at both your parents to see what their noses look like to tell you just how much of it was the glasses. Whatever changes happen, will happen slowly. Therefore, you may want to consult a plastic surgeon if this is a really big issue for you. On the other hand, I usually tell people to be content with what God gave them ;-)

For ANYone reading this answer. There is HOPE. I
say this that if GOD could do a miracle, it would be for HIS
friends and HE would take charge of the expense account
that never, never ends. He would build a most excellent
satellite to cure your crooked noses, make the emperor's
invisible clothes fit nice, and curl you up in a hug down
through your toses. Looking lovely, handsome is on the
docket, believe me this is why supermodels are intelligent.
Each person's beautiful inner self has the opportunity to shine, and to show your true inner self, and look cute.

Look the shape of your nose is predetermined in the womb. So unless you have an accident (you break your nose for instance) at around eleven years of age you nose takes the shape your genetic pool designed for you. Blame it on your parents- grandparents - whoever but not on your specs. maybe you can have it surgically corrected if it bothers you so much but I wouldn't bother if I were you.

I don't think that your glasses effected your nose, though I'm sure they felt like they would. I think it's just the way your nose is shaped. Or at least, your perception thereof.
If it bothers you that much, you might consider cosmetic surgery to reshape your nose to something you're more comfortable with.
Good luck!

It does sound like that your glasses were the culprit on your nose. The only thing that I can suggest is to get rinoplasty if your that concerned of your appearance. My daughter was born with "Dumbo ears" I know I will have to fix those before too long.. No one is perfect but you do have the option of getting that stuff fixed. Good Luck!

I doubt your glasses caused this much damage. If you are this worried about it, I would go to my physician and have them take a look at it.
Good Luck!!
