There's a little bit of everything in Texas
Just look around and you will see
There's a little bit of everything in Texas
And a whole lot of Texas in me

There are forty seven states around it
And each of them have treaures of their own
And everything they boast of, I sure found it
But we've got them all right here at home

Now if you love old sunny California
Or perhaps the hills of Tennessee
No matter what you love just come to Texas
And I'll bet my boots you will agree
There's a little bit of everything in Texas
And really I'm not bragging you see

No, I've never been to Texas, but as a foreigner (I live in the south of England) I would love to go and visit Texas. The only part of the States I have been is Florida. I just love the American people. Unfortunately, when I visited Disney World I developed a migraine and was taken to the sick bay so never saw much of the place.

"Don't Mess With Texas!"

I visited Texas in 1990... while most people in my residence at college went to Florida for Spring Break, my buddy and I decided to drive down to Texas. He was a jazz musician and had a friend going to the University of North Texas in Denton, so we stayed there for a week. Had a great time.

Stationed in El Paso when I was in the service. They had 3 inches of snow one day and nobody from there knew how to drive on it. I told a a co - worker who was from Texas that now I knew how the south lost the war (I'm from Michigan). Thought I was going to get killed right there on the spot!
