i have ibm t 20 laptop power on indicator LED not glowing despite giving power through power adaptor (power adaptor working ok on another equpment) on weak internal battery too laptop not turning on is this problem due to battery going totaly dead? because i know some UPS want turn on at all if battery go dead, so do laptop also use to have such type arrangement that if internal battery is dead laptop want turn on? is there any fuse use to be there inside ibm t series laptops?

That could be a couple things:

It could be the power adapter itself went bad.
It could also be that the jack you plug the adapter into has gone bad.
It could be a problem with the Motherboard.

First, to get a better responds, you need to work on your grammer (not trying to be mean). Regardless of if you have a full charged or totally empty battery, if you have the adaptor hooked up to the laptop and plugged into the wall, the laptop should turn on. I am sure there is no fuse inside of the laptop. If it is not turning on with the adaptor than something is wrong.
