I probably would be tempted, but I am sure that they confiscated his passport after he was found guilty. He is really going to be screwed if the state finds him guilty and refuses to run his state sentence consecutively with his federal.

I WOULD have. Too late to try NOW. Man when they started digging up at my home I'd have realized I was in deep. Said F*** the contract and F*** the Falcons. I'd realize I was screwed and get my money and run. Look up a Country that won't extradite and get my ticket there, or actually a near by country. Then I would have run to the one that would protect me. Vick thought he was untouchable though. He thought the law didn't apply to him. Guess he is learning his lesson as the State is going to file charges as well.
For the record they did take his passport and confined him to house arrest. That was my point that it is too late to try that. He could have done it before he was indicted though. There are countries that don't have an extradition treaties(or whatever they are called) with the U.S. and some that wouldn't do it. Some that don't have to will still cooperate but some won't.

No, I'd just face it, a year or two isn't forever.
If I was M. Vick, I would have never ever plead guilty, because if you notice he has an unbelievable amount of support from the black community, even as ignorant as it may sound, people back him up. He would have never done any time in prison, I know he would have gotten out of it....

What are you talking about?
He will probably only serve a year. If he runs, not only is he so stupid that of course he will caught, but his money will run out soon. And then he faces like 10-20 years in prison.

No. I would make sure my money is tied up in good investments and get out and live off of it. He could always go to a state where dog fighting is legal and restart his business there.

No, there comes a time when a person has to stand up and be accountable for his actions. But I wouldn't be surprised if he fled, he has proven to be a chickensh!t, loser who thinks he is above the law. But if he ever came back, they would throw his sorry @$$ under the jail.
