It could be both! Fiber helps sweep out and regulate your digestive tract. If it's too annoying, cut down on some of the fiber. Fiber is very healthy for you (prevents colon cancer and other issues) - so take it if you can.
Have you ever seen a photo of what happens to your insides when pregnant? They are totally squished. You might be going more often just because there is no room to put any more food into your system.

It's the fiber. Most women are consitpated during pregnancy. Fiber makes your bowels work more easily. Instead of taking fiber everyday, you could try eating a little bit of fiber here and there, or take your fiber every other day. Talk to your doctor and ask him.

it is probably because of the fiber. fiber just keeps you regular. you should probably be sure to take it whenever a bathroom and some privacy are available. like not at 8 am right when you get to work. maybe about an hour after you get home from work or something? atleast you aren't miserably constipated!

Before i got pregnant when i ate cereal with high fiber i would always end up in the bathroom, but i always saw it as a good thing. It cleans you out. I would much rather have to use the bathroom after i eat then to be constipated. It may seem inconvenient, but if you have ever been constipated then you would know it is a much better option.

It's the fiber, you might not need the extra if you get plenty in your diet. Try cutting down on how much you are taking if you can or stop taking it for a day or two and see if it clears up to once or twice a day.

Actually, it could be the iron tablets!! Believe it or not, they can cause diarrhea just as much as they can cause constipation. So phone your doctor or pharmacy and let them know so that they can adjust your dosage and easy on the fibre, you need to introduce it very slowly into your diet or end up with a lot of gas.

its the fiber, can you ask for a lower dose? maybe that would help. he wants to keep you regular, not going all the time you know? good luck, and let your doc know how much your going, so he can help.
