Personnally I don't think it is right or wrong but I can't hold it against someone if they want their kids to look like them and decide to stay within their own race. What annoys me is that some fools who like to play the race card will call you a racist if you aren't attracted to people outside your race...

What do you think?

I dont see anything wrong with wanting to marry in your own race. That dosent make anyone a racist, only for the one fact that they dislike other races and what not. But if you like how your race looks why wouldnt you want someone the same and more so a child... it just means you are just not attracted to the other races out there the same way u are with yours, i'm sure they will have friends or so that are of the other races. But their race is just their preference for a mate.I c nothing wrong with that.

There's more to being racist than not wanting to marry someone outside your race. Look at it like this: If you wanted blond haired children with blue eyes, you may be inclined to be attracted to blond haired men with blue eyes. Is that racist or prejudiced? Not really, it's more of a preference. BUT, if you are not attracted to people outside your race because you hold something against that race, well that's a whole different story. And that's just plain wrong. So, it depends on WHY you feel this way. And only you know the answer to that one.

No it isn't racism at all. You can't help the characteristics you prefer.
I've never dated a guy with blonde hair, does that make me racist against blonde people? NO. I tend to gravitate to dark headed guys. Don't know why, just the way it is.
I refuse to let people manipulate me using the race card. If you have to stoop that low to get what you want then I'd say you have a lot bigger worries, like self esteem issues.

I am african-american and I married an african-american, and would never see myself with any other race. I am NOT racist at all but it's that I am more attracted to african-american men. There are white men that I find attractive, but I just don't see myself going there. If you choose to date and marry within your own race then that does not make you racist.

Racism is discriminating against someone based on their race. If you treat other people of the opposite sex of differetn races different simply because of race, that's racism. You can't help who you're attracted to.

I would never date outside my race, and I dare anyone to call me racist.

I don't believe it is racist to only be physically attracted to members of your own race. We all have different physical features that attract us, be it hair color, height, etc. Being racist means you automatically assume that someone is beneath you because their skin is a different color. For example, I personally do not find Asian men to be attractive. But I have friends who are Asian men and they are wonderful people. I just don't want to sleep with any of them.

its a personal choice nothing racist about it. For some people its easier to marry within there own race and avoid cross culture and tradition mishaps.

No, being attracted to certain type does not make one racist. However, calling someone racist for having a preference is racist.

I think as long as you don't hate other races then your not being racist. People can't help who they are attracted to, it's their preference. I have friends of different races and I'm not a hateful person, but I can't see myself dating a black girl.

Well I am open to dating any race. I am married right now. But to answer your question, I call this personal preference. Meaning you date / marry whom ever you choose to . No one can judge that as racism. We all have our own personal preference.
