About out judicial system, jury of our 'peers', the wheels of justice and what Mark Twain said about not wanting to be judged by anyone who wasn't smart enough to get out of jury duty?

This (unnamed) jurors comment chills me.

I believe a jury is a good thing but, i think they should actually be trained on how to anlyze, think critically, be objective & dispell prejudice. But is that even possible?

It was a hung jury and a mistrial was declared, but this (unnamed) juror will potentially judge another trial.

Education is not just a job ticket, but indeed the cornerstone of democracy. Until we re-learn this important concept then things like you describe here will continue unabated. Until we can give a greater focus to a broad well rounded education then we will continue to make poor election choices as well as continue to degrade the judicial system.

Why would this disturb you? Its not so unusual. If a case has very little physical evidence , its always comes down to he said/ he said and who the Jurors believe over who they don't .

Have you heard any interviews with Spector? Sounds like that juror IS one of his peers if you ask me!

It is up to the lawyers during jury selection to weed such people out. Blame that on the lawyers for both sides.
