Hello There,
I personally don't believe in hypnotherapy, but I have heard that works for some people.

My wife smoked for over 10 years and when she found out that she was pregnant with our now newborn 3 months old daughter, she had promised me that if I found a good solution for quitting, she will try her best to kick the habit.

Well in my spare time I started researching online for quit smoking programs, meanwhile she was trying out patches and gums that you can buy at grocery stores and adventually they would not work for her.

After about a week of researching I had stumbled over a website that really impressed me on what they had to offer and that they actually say that they can almost guarantee your success, and most importantly that you can try it out for free.

The company has been around for over 20 years now and they have helped over a million smokers quit since and their kit has everything that you possibly need to help you quit smoking, I thought WoW that is impressive.

I went ahead and ordered the free trial for my wife (only paid for shipping) and she has quit smoking in just two weeks and she doesn't want to hear about or smell another cigarette again in her life :)

Now it is up to you, but since my wife has quit, I was so happy about her success, so much so that I had built a small review site of the product to also help other people quit, you can check it out at; http://time2quitnow.com if you want to find out more.
Thanks for reading my short story, I hope it helps, good luck and stay healthy.

I smoked Pall Mall unfiltered for 30 years, and stopped by using the patch. The first couple of days were pretty bad, but once I learned that the crushing need for a cigarette only lasted about 10 minutes, it wasn't so bad. I think that's when I knew I could beat it. I never even got started on the second batch of patches. It worked for me, Dude!

Chantix is what worked for me. You have to get it from a doctor. A lot of people i know (some of which smoked for over 20 yrs.) used it to successfully quit. Hope the best for you

I know a bunch of people who tried hypnotherapy, it didn't work. I know even more that used the patch and chantix and both did work. The most important thing is when you quit, never ever start up again, one single cigarette can start the habit all over again. Its hard to quit, its worse to have to quit again, and again and again. If someone wants to quit, he/she has to convince themselves that whatever method they use is absolutely going to work. And then do everything possible to make that happen.

You do what I did... "Cold Turkey" and my philosophy is that only a wimpy person starts up again.

I shamed myself into not lighting up again, because I didn't want to kiss my healthy and good looking boy friend with ash tray breath.

Lowering my standards to kissing an unhealthy man who smokes to accept my smoking is unacceptable. Especially when it comes to one's mortality.

Best way to do it is lay them down and never smoke another cigarette. I smoked for 43 years. Ask the Lord to deliver you and He will.

Hynotherapy is allowing someone that you don't know mess with your mind. Not a very healthy thing to do.

I'm doubtful of hypnotherapy. If someone tries it and actually quits, I think it just means that deep down they already had the willpower to do it.

You cannot be hypnotised against your will and you must be willing and wishing.

One hypnotist was unable to hypnotise a smoker who still smokes and told him that he was a resistant subject.
