And almost no one has mentioned getting arrested by the cops for selling alcohol to MINORS...
Uhm, yeah, when the cops come you are the one who goes to jail if your partygoers are found with fake ID's or are clearly underage drinkers.
It's why the promoters of those 'raves' in the 90's had to keep on the move...

I wouldn't bet on it.
For one you would have to have a lot of people coming to the party.
Two, you have a risk of people stealing keg shells/taps thus lowering your income.
Three, you have to clean it up(which is work in itself)
Four, other theft that may occur
Five, In the event the cops come, you have a chance of being ticketed or going to jail. Which would take a chunk out of your funds.

I wouldn't bank on it as your main source of income, but if you plan them right at the right time, you can make some extra cash.

And also, anyone can just have kegs, try adding jello shots, trashcan punch or shot blocks. All are cheap good additions to a keg. Well, shot blocks can be exensive depending on the size of the ice block.

But jello shots and trashcan punch just require cheap vodka for the liquor.

It is possible, but I wouldn't rely on it to pay rent. You might find yoruself on the street before you throw that last needed party. Also, don't forget you have to recoup the money you initially spent on the kegs and deposit before you can count any money for rent, or you won't be throwing many parties. I sold "things" other than cups to finance a spring break trip, and that is all that it was good for. It will catch up with you in the end. So my advice is, get a job, throw keggers for additional fun money or something new for your place.

Quite possibly you could make enough to pay your rent. But, I don't think that your landlord or neighbors would be thrilled with the idea. Also, consider the damage and repair expenses that you would have to pay from all of these parties and people in your place on a regular basis. Nice try though...

No usually the damage done by partygoers is much more than any profit you make on beer. Also factor in the fines for illegal activity and lack of a liquor license.

Depends on the size and success. Don't forget to buy some liability insurance to cover yourself for when one of you guests mows over a family in a drunk driving accident.

I doubt it, but you may make enough to pay the bail when you are charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor or, even worse, supplying the beer that got the kid driver so drunk that he wrecked and killed his friends or a family of strangers.
