To be blunt, I find that most people who complain loudly about the place they live, will complain loudly no matter where they live.

What I think is that you need to find a purpose for your life. You can do that anywhere...though moving can be an effective way to jump start the process. It doesn't matter where you move to...or, rather, the choice depends far more on you and your goals than the location. If it's a career move, obviously you go someplace where that career is in demand. If it's family, maybe you go somewhere with good schools. You can find a good life almost anywhere. It really depends on you and your attitude.

i think you need to get out of there. new york is nice, real nice you all ways have somewhere to go and i'm from long island so i take the train to the city and its fun, sometimes i just take the train to other parts of long island because it real big and very beautiful. your young, it doesn't mean that because you spend most of your life there you have to stay America is a big place you should do some on line research about different states and explore, you most find something. but wherever you choose to go make sure and find out everything you need to know about the area because this whole is full of sick people. good luck and be very safe.

Every state has good points and bad points.
Travel around to a few places to see if things are better for you.
