I did when I was young and it lasted us only 3 months. The lady ghost of the house and 25 men came to chase my mother and her 6 children out from the house. By the way, this house was a mansion and had a massive grave in the black yard. The monks came to the house and mother had to feed the spirit with raw chickens as well as spirits. So they never bathe red us again but, my mother was not happy so we had to move to a new home.

I had a friend that lived in one. I thought he was full of it honestly. Then one night I was on the couch alone. He got up to do something in his room on the other side of the house, and no one else was home. I saw a dark man/figure move across the kitchen and hide and I was positive it was him playing a joke on me. I started laughing and told him to cut it out and went in there, sure that I'd find him crouched down, ready to jump out at me wearing an all black costume or something weird. To my utter terror there was no one there. I ran to my friend's room with my hair standing on end. When I told him what happened, he said "I told you!"

I don't know what that thing was and frankly I don't want to find out.

We have a ghost in our house. Sometimes is annoying when you can hear them walking and it drives the dog crazy. The worst that ever happened is that she threw a fork across the kitchen when we had company for dinner. They never came back to vist at our house again.

Yeah, I have. It was really scary actually. Not that fun, people may think that it would be SO cool, but it scared the **** out of my family and me. So there was a kid about the same age as me, born in 1993, murdered in that house in the next room over from My brother's and my bedroom. Now our bedroom was fairly large, and there was a boarded up door right in the corner of it, and in the room next to our's where that kid died, there is another door leading into the hallway that's always locked; only the landlords have the key and they never come around.
The first few nights after we moved in everything was fine, but then after a week, we started to hear strange noises and such coming through the wall. The noises would start to get louder like things being thrown against the walls and our beds would start to shake. But when we called for our parents, everything would stop. Just like that, so they thought it was all our imagination, but humored us and we slept in their room that night. This would happen every night or so, but most times I wasn't allowed to sleep in my Mom's room with her because it got too crowded. So I was left cowering in my blankets, until I screamed and my parents would come running again. The next night they said my brother's and I could sleep in their room and my parents would sleep in our room. That night I woke up to hear them yelling, the bed rattling, and furniture being thrown around. We all started crying. The landlords who had come up and were staying in the cabin next to our house heard the racket and came in to investigate. Everyone was out of our rooms now and my family and I were standing in the hallway in our pajama's. The door that was usually locked, was smashed and hanging on it's hinges. Now when the landlords saw that, they almost freaked, but my Mom explained what had happened the everyone deceided to go have a look at what was happening in the room. When I stepped inside everything was a mess. Wood splinters were everywhere, two of the three windows were broken, and all of the furniture and china, or whatever it had been was smashed beyond recognition.
I heard someone shout and the flashlight shone up to the wall. I remember hearing everyone murmmering and trying to push me out of the way, but I wriggled forwards. On the wall was in large lettered red (what I had thought was paint at the time) paint: MARTIN
The landlords were freaking out at us saying we had done this and it was our fault and that they wanted us out of the house, and frankly, we were all to glad to leave it, but first we had to find a house. Which we did and on the moving day, I recalled having seen a tombstone so gathering my courage and my little brothers, we headed down there. I squinted my eyes to read the crude writing on the headstone, and I gasped, taking my brothers hands ran like a bat out of hell. We all hurried out of the haunted house and soon moved into that new house, which was perfectly fine. But I will always remember what was on the tombstone. It said:
'Here lies Martin -- ---
Born May 20th, 1993
Died July 14th, 1999'

And that is my haunted house story.

My friend did, we were up late one night and all of a sudden all the cabinet doors in the kitchen opened and slammed shut, her parents came out to yell at us and saw how scared we were and saw some of the cabinets open and we all tripped out.
