A pixel shader serves to manipulate a pixel, usually to apply an effect on an image, for example; realism, bump mapping, shadows, and explosion effects. It is a graphics function that calculates effects on a per-pixel basis. Depending on resolution, an excess of 2 million pixels may need to be rendered, lit, shaded, and colored for each frame.

Man all the games ur trying to play are High Graphics needed games so naturally u need high Pixel and Verical Shader Capacity nearly 2.5 and above (For Smooth rendering ) !!!

Above from wat u said its clear that u dont have much developed graphics card !!! ("I cant play them cause they all say I dont have 2.0 pixel shader")

There are no solutions u can use to fix this !!!
The only thing u can do is better Buy new Graphics Cards !!!
And Nvidia is a nice company !!!
At their 8 series cards are latest !!!
Which has DirectX 10 man !!!

Pixel shaders come from your videocard. When you look up a video cards specs it will usually list what pixel shader version it supports.

repsect.....? when people demand respect, guess what!they won't get it. people earn respect in my book.

ah pixel shaders are great
they allow for layered visual effects in the game.
its a set of instructions IN the video card.
the newer your card the higher the #
If I were you I'd aim for a new card with pixel shader 4.0
(if you have a pci express slot on your mother board)

check here for info on PS #s
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pixel_shader
then when you find a workable card from the table, check your prices here

the geforce 8500 looks like a good deal to me
