what are some good shocks that will make my car sit higher,because the current shocks are old and makes it sit low to the ground.i heard monroes are good.

Shocks are not the answer. You need to use spacers in the suspension. After this is done you need to make sure the shocks have enough travel distance in the piston to work properly.

Believe it or not, shocks/struts do not have anything to do with the ride height of your vehicle. They only dampen joust and rebound(bouncing). The springs determine the ride height.

"Shocks" do not lift the car. Springs do.

you probably need new springs not shocks.
