Im trying to read an article and some stupid ad is flashing at my left or right---its very distracting. I think Im getting tired of yahoo news---- you?

animated ads are a new things, guys, and no i dont have to put up with them. Thanks for the useful info Maggie and bonneye!

yes that's very annoying. Try hitting the ESC key on your keyboard... sometimes that stops them.

It's better than paying a subscription fee for content. Someone has to pay the bills and I would rather it be advertisers than users.

yes they do! specially the one's that expand when the mouse pointer goes over them. I have blocked them using my host file though!

So switch to ubuntu and delete all the ads. That's what I did.
