I'm writing a paper for my english class on how PSU may have a chance on winning the Big Ten title (originally the NC) but anyways.. i'm coming up short. i need at least 4 pages, i only have 3.. 1 or 2 good paragrahs should do it.

So, if anyone knows
- what the alum stats are ticket sales (for a paragraph i already have).
- or a good reason that i could use in my paper on why we have a chance to win (ie; good o-line or defense) with some detail
would be great.

oh, & if you're a biiter fan over the loss last week or a UM or OSU fan.. i realllllly don't need any negative feedback. I'm just as pissed about the loss as any--but i chose my topic, its too late to change it now.

thanks sooo much. :)

Penn State has a chance to win thanks to great speed on both sides of the ball. Their offensive line has quick awareness in pass protection, and the blocking schemes are consistent which allows the tailback to find room to run.
Their defensive line is not afraid to blitz. The D-line has the speed to put pressure on the opponent's QB anytime and all the time if they wish. If they don't sack the QB, the pressure causes poor decision-making and forces the QB to make an inaccurate or bad throw altogether.

Ultimately, even the skill positions (RB, WR, TE) have speed. You can coach technique. You can coach knowledge of the game. You can't coach pure, raw speed, and Penn State has that.

Subsequently, the coaching of Joe Paterno is immeasureable. Paterno has a fire that has not diminished with his age.

Good luck on your paper!

nicely first Penn State has to overcome Michigan State, and my cherished Hawkeyes proved that something is plausible. If that occurs then they are going to possibly pass there yet shall we not get it twisted. USC is a ways extra advantageous than Penn State and Oregon State is a much extra advantageous team now so NO I disagree approximately this blow out element, i think of a rematch may well be a lot closer this time if Oregon State and Penn State met lower back.

I'm a UM fan but I'll try not to be insulting...

Basically, all Penn State can hope for right now is that they win the rest of their Big Ten games and hope that all the other teams beat the crap out of each other.

I can't suggest any paragraphs, but make sure you spend some time talking about the long legacy of Joe Pa. In his prime he would beat tough teams on a regular basis, he was known as a coach who gets the job done, good, bad or ugly he got it done.

I graduated from Penn State in '05. All I know is that you can't, and shouldn't, say anything good about the quarterback. Stick with the speed of the players and our awesome defense.
