I worked for a gym in GA they told me in July that we were moving locations and I would be needed to help get the new place going, I worked 2 weeks in July, 4 weeks in Augst and 1 week in Sept. In August the office manager gave $20 for gas here and there totaling $200.00 now I quit in Sept cause I had nt been paid and the employer was really mena an abusive with his language. He owes me at toal of $1500 and I can't get him to pay me, now he won't even return my calls, what do I do.

Contact the state labor board and let them know this employer is withholding owed wages. They'll be all over him like flies on garbage.

Not because they care about you, but because that means he isn't paying the taxes due on those wages.

Do you have proof that you worked there? did you fill out an application and w2 form for your employment there? Or was it a cash under the table job?
If it was cash under the table then you have to take him to small claims court and you better have proof you did the work for him.
If you filled out paperwork and timesheets and such, then you can report him to the states business clerk, and take him to court over it as well.
Always get something signed saying you are working somewhere even if its cash under the table. All it does is put you under the self employment laws and if your employer turns it in you will be required to pay taxes on the income.
