It doesn't actually make you more creative. It simply alters your thought process, so you think in a slightly different way. the concept is the same as alcohol. Almost anyone who's been drunk has a story that goes 'well, it seemed like a good idea at the time.....'

Hello,
It is much like an opera singer teacher told me years ago. Some alcohol and wacky tabaccy makes you more creative and sing better I told her but she gave a sardonic grin and said you only "think" you sing and create well under those circumstances.

Because it impairs the senses. Watch a horror film like Hostel or Saw when you get high and I guarantee it will affect you differently.

i had a guitarist once that was amazing until he got high-- he thought he got better-- we had to boot him from the band.
