how can i get a copy of obit? tried to get on line to the paper, no obit on line? please help! she passed away 9-17-07. he was told of this 9-26-07

Okay so I have never heard of that city.

But so far as I know, all towns have a place they keep public records, vital statistics, etc. So that could help with the death certificate and stuff.

If you know the name of the paper, they can (most of the time) mail a copy (sometimes free if you can prove relation).

Another source of information is the local church.

His best bet is calling the corner where she passed away. Get all the info from then. Next he should call the funeral chapel.
