I know what you are feeling. I spent the entire 7 months while my husband was gone working out and dieting. I lost 50 lbs, I permed my hair and highlighted it, had my nails done, and got a bikini wax. I spent weeks preparing for his arrival. I had a maid service come and fix up the entire house as well as a lawn service for the yard. Boy was he shocked. It was such a good surprise that 3 weeks after he was home I was still getting good comments about it from him. Good luck!

I would not only have the house clean, but sparkling... I would have all his favorites ready, his favorite meal prepared, his favorite things to drink and snack on, I would have fresh sheets on the bed and wash all the blankets and such... I would have a bubble bath with candles and rub his back, make him feel good... I would do other things that I can't list here.... Then, when he wanted to go to bed, we would sleep, I would try to wake up early without disturbing him, and give him breakfast in bed, with only an apron on.
All I can say is stock the house so you wont have to leave for a few days!

I wouldn't worry too much about the house just the bedroom. If he's been gone 6 months he's going to want some good lovin. Have a quick dinner to prepare afterwards because I'm sure he's missed some good home cooking too.

Well, I am quite sure he wont give a stuff if the house is clean - unless he is odd - but he will mind if you are too knackered to love him. He will probably just want to get settled back in so don't overdo the welcome. A nice hug, a decent cuppa, a quick catch up, a nice dinner and a bit of TV - he may want his naughties...be prepared....

Men and women have different views and tolerences when it comes to a clean house and little details. Your husband has been away for 6 months. He's not going to be evaluating your accumulation of dust bunnies. He's going to want to experience what he missed: YOU, your cooking, your backrubs, etc. Do the things he's expressed appreciation for over the time you've known him. And never underestimate the power of lingerie, breakfast in bed, backrubs and serving him his favorites in his favorite chair while watching the game.

First, plan very little because you really want to go by his mood. Having dinner ready is a good start, but don't be upset if he's not hungry. If the time feels right you can start something sexually, but once again you want to play it by ear. Sometimes we are tired and just not in the mood.
Let him and his body language guide what you do for him.

I'm sure he'll probably want to skip the meal and go straight for dessert, wink, wink! Still make the meal though, he'll be plenty hungry afterwards! Have fun!!!
