I am looking for a kind material that has the following properties:
- isn't gas or fluid
- doesn't react with water
- doesn't have negative effects on humans
- has low weight and doesn't sink in water
- Has a similar or smaller density than water.
- Is solid, it isn't powder or something you can crush when you touch it

If your answers won't fit i'll add more details. Thanks in advance.

Ice melts in water so it doesn't fit.
Human skin - Right but not the *ekhem* material i'm looking for.
Pumice is too weak. a tough hit can make it go to pieces so it doesn't fit.
Wood isn't a good one since it rots if it's too long in water. The pressure-treated wood isn't a bad idea... I might think of it.
Polistyrene - Let's in water so it doesn't fit.

As so far pressure-treated wood seems the best for that... If you find something that goes right with the above properties , tell me.

A plastic foam coated with thin, dense plastic or fiberglass does well. Boat hulls and surfboards are made that way.
