Dress should be tucked in and collar down. For casual, any way you prefer, untucked with collar up or down if you like the look of tucked in, do it.

I love polos on males. They look preppy and crisp. Nothing annyos me more than seeing a polo worn two sizes too big.
Here's my advice:
Buy one that fits...just make sure it's not so tight people can see your food digesting.
If you want to go really casual (like hanging w/ friends), you can wear it untucked and you can even layer a shirt underneath if you'd like.
If you are dressing it up, you want to tuck it in. For the bottoms, wear khakis or chinos and a pair of decent shoes.
Collar is up to you on both ocassions.

Don't tuck it in unless you are like 40 years old, and collar down for sure.

# 1 Dont tuck it in ever!
Casual- pop that collar or leave it down. Which ever your prefer.
Dress- collar down and definitely wear a belt that matches your shoes.
