I have this really cute leapord shirt from years ago. Is it out of style now?

Animal print is only good in moderation. Most fashion experts recommend a bag, a belt, or a pair of shoes. Never wear animal with animal. If the shirt has animal trim then it should be ok, but never the whole shirt/pants/dress that's just wrong.

yes, it was kind of in in the spring, dolce and gabbana had some leapord print but they were the only designers that did, no leapord print probably won't be in again for a long long time, i would get rid of the shirt, and definetely don't wear it, now if it were a bag that is a different story

Yes, animal prints are in this season, everything from shirts to shoes. As long as the shirt has a classic cut and not some odd shape to it, it should be fine.

Classic animal prints, such a leopard, are always in style. Just be sure it still fits you well and mix it with more contemporary pieces so it doesn't end up looking too dated.
