I've be recently told that Cancerians are strongly effected by the Moon. Over the last week and the beginning of this week my moods have been all over the place. Last night there was a full moon and today I'm back to normal.

The scientific answer is no, but the reality is yes, if you believe it will have an effect it will. All through history it is believed that it does, so why not?

Yes the moon affects people's behaviour.

People act a little crazy when there is a full moon. Just pay attention to those around you throughout the time the moon is full and you will see a lot of aggressive behaviour.

The sale clerks can tell you it is a full moon just by the way that people act oddly when paying for their purchases etc...

But I didn't know it affected Cancerians more strongly - will have to watch the child born under the cancer sign in the home for that....hmmmm that explains a lot.

I think it does, and it makes sense too - remember the effect of the Moon on tides. Well, humans and animals are made up of a lot of water!
There is bound to be some influence.
As for horoscopes, if they are accurately and scientifically done, you will find a lot of truth in them.
The moon was in Cancer when I was born, and it accounts for a lot of basic characterisitics that I have.
A Full Moon is not really part of that, though.
It does have a very energetic effect on a lot of people; myself included.
My cat, Brother Bob, is old now, a senior citizen, but last night he was really entertaining; he became so high and hyper, more than a kitten. He was literally flying about; leaping up tree trunks and rushing up and down the stairs.
Today, he is so tired out! All he's done is sleep!
Hang on, I think his Sun sign IS Cancer!
You should keep a monthly record of your moods; start with jotting down how you feel before a Full Moon.
Then you'll find out!

I have also heard this..but I have never seen any evidence that my behavior or anyone I know is any different during a full moon than any other time... I do know some nurses that swear that during a full moon more babies are born....they think it has something to do with the body having so much water and the gravitational pull of the moon that causes more people to go into labor...or something like that............

I'm also a Cancer, but Im not really sure that I buy in to Astrology all that heavily.

OTOH..... Ask any Cop or Emergency Room Doctor or Ambulance EMT and they'll all tell you that when the Moon is full, people all get a bit crazier than usual.

Go figure ☺

Derno, but when ever there is a full moon, I just feel pumped with energy. I managed to get 0 sleep, and was perfectly fine throughout the whole 2 days, which was weird.

It's never been verified, but I think it does. If lunar gravity can affect the tides as it does, imagie what it's gravity is subtlely doing to our brains! I also notice that driving abilities seem to get a lot worse during the full moon. The Cancer coorelation makes sense, seeing that it's timed at the summer solstice when the sun is furthest from earth...hence, you were born in a slightly lower gravitational field.

Astrology, some sociologists and most law enforcement agencies says there IS some correlation.

Despite the fact it rases the Oceans several feet, science says any other effect is BS

Of course Science also says we come from Chimps

Science also says we are made up of invisible one dimensional strings

Science also back peddals on Pluto as a planet.

So science is to be taken with a grain of salt, just like religion.

YES...the 28 day cycle is like the tide a causation created by the moon.
Those people who are severely affected by the moon are shuttered away from society. But sometimes they escape!

yes, very much so I find I am much edgier around a full moon, my husband has a tendency to flip out during a full moon also.
I find my animals are affected strangely too, my horses are a lot less responsive and have a tendency to misbehave.
One of my dogs actually woke me up howling and barking at 1am this morning - this was a first!!
