Yes, I think that some people still drink sassafras tea.

I do not, but I think that some people still do.

My Dad dug up the roots and my Mom would make sassafras tea, I drank it with sugar and I loved the way it smelled when mom was brewing the tea.

It's still sold in the stores but not too many people drink it .Usually it's the elderly that buys it.I like it.
