Personally I think if you committed a heinous crime that requires the death penalty you should experience pain as you die. And lets save some tax payer money and use a bullet instead.

What you are missing is that doctors are not permitted to participate in executions and people who do participate are not as well trained as anesthesiolgsts. As a result, the drugs are often improperly administered. Imagine having a hospital orderly (instead of a doctor) administer anesthesia during an operation. The lethal injection cocktail has been banned as a way to euthanize animals. Unless enough of the drug to make the condemned unconscious is given, correctly, the condemned person can wake up and feel the excrutiating pain of the last drug. But because of the paralytic drug, the condemned cannot move or cry out so that no one else realizes this.

We are supposed to have a death penalty, not a death by torture penalty.
Lethal injection uses a 3 drug protocol. The first is to render the condemned person unconscious, the second to paralyze him and the third to kill him.
If the first drug has not worked properly (often the case with unqualified technicians) the paralytic agent will make it impossible for the condemned to thrash around, moan, gasp or indicate acute pain. The paralytic is used largely to spare witnesses the gruesome spectacle of such things.
This protocol is not used when animals are euthanized because of the enormous suffering it is believed to cause.

I think the death penalty is inhumane to start with. What ever these people are on death row for, they will answer to it on Judgement Day. Let them stay the rest of their life out of society so they can't harm anyone else

I believe what the murderer did to their victim was inhumane!
They CANNOT have their cake and eat it too!
If it were up to me, I'd fry 'em until their eyeballs cooked right out of their heads!
