Gaining access to other peoples resources and then gaining the corporate tax from the businesses that invest in the conquered nation.
You know when they rebuild the infrastructure and provide jobs for the people. Capitalist governments are so considerate and helpful don't you think.
It's always an investment people. Goverments are like corporations all expenditure is an investment either directly or indirectly. The ROI for iraq may be pretty long but in the long run it will be worth it in the long run.. USA - debt who is going to make them pay? Don' t make me laugh

The human race has always produced a surplus of male babies. These male babies usually grow up to be aggressive nasty bastards otherwise called teenage trouble-makers.
How to control teenage-trouble makers? Recruit them into the army and send them off to a war somewhere hopefully to die in war and become just another dead soldier to be remembered each year on Remembrance Sunday.

It's really sad that war is so inevitable. I don't think peace is ever in the cards for us. I mean think of when you have a best friend, or a lover. It's healthy to have a good fight... And it feels good to blow off steam.
But killing people?
