according to her website shes called Ruby Megan, do u think its better for celebs to choose more traditional normal names or made up ones?

I think Ruby is a beautiful name and i like the fact she picked Megan as its a traditional Welsh name and she is Welsh......sure beats naming the baby after where it was concieved like some celebrities...or after a fruit....i mean Apple....what was Gwyneth paltrow thinking?

there's no reason why a celeb should feel obliged to make up, or use a traditional name for their baby each to their own. However Ruby Megan is a very pretty name and one that the baby will grow up with easily, unlike some (made up or not) names, so good on her for, yet again, being very down to earth and sensible, and I hope they are very happy.

I hate the name Megan, Ruby sounds like something an old person should be named. I dont like it. it IS better than blanket though.

Think she chose Ruby as it is red as is Wales when shown as the dragon on the flag.
I like the name, at least she will be able to attend school, nursery without cruel jibes from other children - I mean look at Paula Yates kids - were her & bob on drugs when they named their kids, how bout Jordan (incidentally I do like Jordan) but have to say "princess Tiamii? hello! And just think of poor Apple, romeo and Cruz! Do these parents not think of the future for their offspring!
Anyone remember what Cher called her kids - was'nt one called "Chastity"?

its a nice pretty name i love the name Ruby - i doesnt bother me about the bizzarre celeb baby name it goes with the lifestyle they lead, and the non normal upbringing the kids get -
but Ruby is cute

I like Ruby, it´s in my baby name list!, Megan is ok, it´s a Welsh name so at least it´s pronounceable (is that a word?)

i think it is a lovely name. Ap[parently she wanted to call it the same as Myleene Klass (Ava or something similar) but she had hers first!!
I think that her babys name is far better than the rubbish some celebs give their kids (Jordan take note!!) but sometimes names that are slightly different are a bit nicer than common names!!

Ruby is a very old name. C'mon... when you think of Apple and Moon Unit and Chastity.. sheesh... these celebs should be a little more considerate to their chlidren's feelings.
