I am not one of the radical Pro-life people, I actually believe that there are a few times when an abortion is justified.
I am, however, a realist. I know that the whole "It's My/A woman's body" argument is a total BS cop-out.
The "Thing" that is growing inside of the woman, isn't genetically "Her"...it's another organism entirely.
In >ANY< abortion, you >ARE< ending another human's life...Saying anything else is nothing but a poor excuse for an outright lie.
I mean, at some point, the "THING" stops being a "Cluster of cells" and becomes a "Baby".....I think we can all agree to this idea.
But >EXACTLY WHEN< does this happen?
Is there a millisecond (X) that the "THING" isn't...then Poof! (Y) it is?
So that killing the (X) is OK(Like cutting out a tumor), but a millisecond later...Poof! Killing (Y) is murder?(Like killing a child).
I believe that both(all) sides need to sit down, and work this whole thing out.
Only then can we hope to achieve unity.
T.S.

People who want the ability to murder the most innocent of our population always claim this to be a right .
The only thing I can think is that they are so brainwashed that they can not accept the evidence .
That at the time of conception the DNA that combines to create life has a special and unique code that makes each live distinguishable from all others .
I would no more accept putting the elderly down who can no longer speak or walk around and needed full time care then I would a child in its mothers womb .
Just as abuse could occur with elderly people so can it occur with developing people in need of a single individual to provide safe live support until it can function on its own .

It is just a disagreement over intent. They do not want people to kill potential people as they see any fertilized egg as the same as a full grown human being. So it becomes a constitutional question of is this murder, or privacy
They see the rights of the unborn as superceding the rights of the woman in control of her own body.
Basically it is an argument of whose rights take precedence? the potential human, or the woman? The fetus sucks nourishment and bio-matter from the woman, yet it is the essential act of reproduction.
Some people do not agree with the act of aborting a baby and hence wish to make it illegal because they do not like it, saying it is same as murder.
Some say it is the choice of the woman and no one else's business....it may demonstrate character but not a legal question.
Usually those anti-abortion are ok with the death penalty....and those pro-choice are against death penalty...so both believe in killing..just different targets.
I personally think it is wrong to use abortion as birth control but I see that I have no right's to anyone's body
I see it like this. If a woman refuses to donate an organ and someone dies from lack of a donor organ...she may be an @sshole according to my thinking but she is well within her legal rights. My FEELINGS are not the law, and if someone can LEGALLY withhold organs and body parts which can result in the death of another person...then the case for anti-abortionists is baseless.
Mel H> So you think it is murder to not donate a body part for another person? Because it is same situation. What about Miscarriage since that is mother's body killing the fetus..is that involuntary manslaughter? What if mother will die but fetus will live..who gets to live then? I am not trying to attack you but ask what your thoughts are.
Pfo> sorry but no..not that simple at all. The fetus may have right to life but what about the woman's right to liberty? What about her right not to support another life? If I hooked you up to another person and said "You are now supporting this other person's life and you have to stay like this for 9 months" isn't that basically impinging on your right to freedom? So no this is not as simple as you make it. Or is it anti-abortion is pro-life and pro-choice is pro-freedom?
mustagme> So you think miscarriage should be tried as involuntary manslaughter..because otherwise you are not being consistant. Again what if I made YOU the "battery" for someone else's life support machines...do I have the right to force you to support another life? Do you have the right to refuse to support these machines? Does the person on support's rights supercede yours? Is this a moral or a legal issue? It may be immoral for you to disconnect yourself and let that person die but should you go to jail for it? Should you be restrained so you CANNOT disconnect yourself?
ah and here come the "I disagree so i think this is a bad answer" thumbs down cowards. They don't even think about the answer..they just see it does not mimic their own and hence must be wrong and attacked.

The constitution says nothing about being allowed to kill your baby! In fact, every American life is guaranteed the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Apparently unwanted babies can't enjoy any of those rights.
How can you have two pro sides in an argument? The issue is abortion, simply put you are either for or against. Abortion is murder, so pro-choice == pro-murder. Pro-life is clearly pro-life, you want unborn babies to have a chance to live.

If anything, being antichoice is parallel with the constitution as is pro-choice - the Constitution allows both groups to co-exist even if an uncivilized manner.

The only constitutional issue here is the fact that its unconstitutional to take the issue out of the state control. As far as killing babies, you shouldn't need a law to guide you on this but.......here we are. You're not smart enough to do this on your own so we have to guide you. DON'T DO IT!

Nothing against freedom, but I am against murder of the innocent.

Getting pregnant is a CHOICE. You choose to have sex, you choose to not use protection. What choice does the baby have? The idea of "woman's body" becomes irrelevant because it is not just HER body anymore. If you choose to have sex, you need to put on your big girl panties and accept the consequences.

I look at things this way. I am not pro-choice or pro-life. I am from the school that a woman has a right to make up her own mind. It is her body and her choice. She has to live with that choice either way and I could never take that away from her. I personally could never do it but that is me and I am a mom. But if say my friend wanted to have an abortion I would support her anyway I could. We have no right to tell someone what they can or can't do to their own body.

The Constitution is about rights as American Citizens. Abortion is murder. I don't think it violates the Constitution, but it does violate law.
Abortion is the same as murder 1. It is pre-meditated. Anyone who has an abortion should be accused of murder.
