They were crisp chocolate cups filled with sponge and a creamy fondant. Years later I have tried to get them, only to find that they seem to have been discontinued, when I don't know.
Oh, I remember those lovely little cakes, they were delicious. I read somewhere that Waitrose revived them a few years ago, but they did not catch on, probably because they were charging £1 for one cake.

In all honesty, I've never had the pleasure. As a matter of fact I had to go online to find out what they are.

I remember Kunzel cakes, Mitcham Mints, and most of the cigarettes you mentioned although I had forgotten them until you brought the subject up. My first and only cigarette was a Woodie Woodbine when I was ten years old, which one of my Uncles gave me.We used to stamp on the empty Woodbine packets and say, "Woodie Woodie Woodbine bring me luck, if you don't I'll tear you up" We used to save and exchange cigarette cards, my favourites were a series of sports cars in the thirties and forties. So long ago now.

Yes - I remember them. They do have something similar now, but not in the little foil cases.
