Blue and pink eyeshadow, Top of the Pops, Duran Duran, permed hair (it was huge) falling in love with someone different every fortnight, house parties when people's Mums and Dads were away for a night out, first "grown up kiss" (was a game of dare! didnt have a clue what i was doing but i think i pulled it off(id like to add i didnt mean him!) broken hearts, electric blue high heels with white ribbed tights!......on and on i could go

I have some bad memories from the 80's, it was the decade my ex husband was an alcoholic, and did alot of mental cruelty to me, it was the decade my mom died ;-(
but i suppose some good memories were 2 of my children were born in the 80's, so that makes up for the rest, except my mom dying

The music, high school graduation, college, the music, moving to Salt Lake City, living in Austria for a year, the music, becoming engaged, getting married. Wow! What a great decade!

The summer of 1988- freshly graduated from high school, on the way to college and adulthood, dating my future, and still husband, SERIOUSLY big hair, oversized shirts with wide belts and skinny leggings, and the music of the 80's. Definitely the music.

I LOVED the hair bands!! I had HUGE HUGE hair LMFAO and all those huge earrings and colored socks, and KEDS! I always wanted a crimper but my mom wouldn't buy me one :(
Anyone remember rolling the pants really tight around the ankles?? And JAMS!! OMG JAMS! Those shorts were awesome! Haha
My brothers wore parachute pants, I remember them SO well!
Records, my brothers had tons of records and they'd threaten me if I touched them....even though I DID touch them!
Gosh I have so many good memories of the 80's! LOL

I wore neon clothes and crimped my hair and then sprayed a can of Aqua net hairspray on it. Extra hold!!!!!!!!! And I was a big Prince fan. Every time i hear something off "Purple Rain" it takes me back to 1984.

It was afro hair style for me and Saturday night dances on leaking old boats which somehow managed to stay afloat from Greenwich down to Westminster and back again.
All that came to a halt when the Bow bells sank....But those were the days...I loved them.

Frankie Goes To Hollywood being the first band ever to get their first 3 singles to number 1 when The Power of love went to number 1. I was their number 1 fan and thought it was the best thing ever!!!

Being a little girl in the 80s... although, looking back, I would have loved to have been in my 20s then... i'd of had big Bon Jovi like hair... lol.
