Why not trick the cricket into going into a can/bottle that has a secured lid and make a time capsule out of it and tell the cricket it'll be dug up in [x] number of years, where it'll see a new world and possibly a cricket of it's s/o.

In those cases I always use psychological bullying. Like tell him how he sucks at being an insect, and how his song is the worse you've ever heard. That should expel him from your house without the need of powerful explosives.

I understand frogs not near as destructive as dynamite,will do the job.

nah, but I have some fireworks, a lighter, some bug sprays, and the gopher food that is actually poison. Let me know what you want to use.
