Some men like to boast of their conquests to try and impress their peers, it doesn't work though because if my friends and i are out and somebody starts boasting we just think "Yea right".

Anyway as the old saying goes "A gentleman never tells".

Narcissism. To share your conquests with your mates and to be called 'the man.' As ignorant as it sounds, it actually feels good for the guy. A possible sign of low esteem. Of course, the truly confident man wouldn't share or take part in what seems like a juvenile sharing session. Then you have to ask the question, do they even exist?

For some men to boast about there conquests is all they've got to boast if you catch my drift.

The rest of them are just possers

because what comes out of their mouth is BS anyway...that's why women get branded with horrible names because of guys like that, most of the time they exaggerate about their conquests because it was not that good in the first place...i'm not saying all men are like that but the majority are....they do need to grow up

In my opinion, this is mostly a young man thing.

When I was young, most of the desire to 'hook up' was the conquest and to be able to brag to buddies. When you get older, you just don't care what people think about you. This, in my opinion, is one of the greatest (and there are many) advantages to getting older.

because they have nothing else in their lives but the conquests. such a lonely state they're in. and they sound so lame doing it. the only guy who could brag about conquests and pull it off successfully is tucker max.

I always think the men that boast about it, dont get enough so they have to talk about it to compensate

Because they are idiots. And yes, I am a man. But I don't boast about my sex life.

This makes me think of Beatnick.

Look at his questions.

A poor attempt to establish the "alpha" male position (because they usually only brag to other guys - doing so to a woman would be like saying "yeah, I'm a man-whore.. so...").
