The question should instead be; What exactly is Talent; for every one can claim of having this or that talent.

Also we should not forget that while a performer is called talented by people outside; the appreciators of the performer; are truly the ones who can feel and know the existence, presence and working of talent in the performer.

It is not that; that a musician only can appreciate music righteously; a lay man who is not educated in music; does that often.

Talent; in my opinion is the work of passion and the quality of self within;
an individual to generate and drive;
perhaps such pure spirits of joy, love, and compassion within his or her self; and combine them with the learnings of the self;
only for enabling and empowering his or her own self to perform physical actions and activities of self through such spirits only.

It is perhaps due to such reasons only that the actions and activities of the talented person generate either like feelings or those of happiness in those others; who end up appriciating the talent of the individual and the individual as well.

Talent of self; within the self; is the result of such hard work performed by the self only; which can motivate and drive the self to perform actions; not for any other reason and purpose; but only for seeking and delivering the spirits of joy, love, and compassion; and happiness and goodness through the abilities and the actions and activities of self; both to the self and to others as well.

Talent is in fact; a spiritual experience in the mind and heart of self; and not the experience of either intelligence or the emotions of self; and can be gained and known like wise only.

It has to be earned by the self; and can be earned only by completely committing, and dedicating the self with devotion of self; either towards those inspirations of self which drive the self to perform actions of committment and dedication of self; or towards that source which we know of as our source of inspiration; for performing perticular actions.

Its kinda weird, I can measure anything buy looking at it, cups of water, tsps, tbsps, etc, I also know how many feet/inches things are just by looking at them! : )

i have a lot singing, dancing, arts ext, however my favorite is sewing b/c I'm sewing baby blankest for mom to be at a battered women's home. something that is dear to my heart b/c my mom was once one of those girls.
