I usually pay close attention to the music I'm listening to and I memorise the lyrics very quickly because of that. Like on the bus, it's noisy and annoying so I put my earphones on and listen to my favourite songs and block the people out. Or when I've got too many things in my mind then I listen to my favourite songs then I forget about all the worries until the whole album has finished then I replay it all over again XD Sometimes I put on a song that I know very well and I use it as background when I'm in my history class just to block out the teacher ranting on and on and the annoying people in my class. And when I'm reading I turn the music down really quiet and I read & relax with the music on. Just to block out the teacher ranting on and on. BQ: Dark Horse & All The Right Reasons - Nickelback BQ2: Nothing really... Any random song... I sometimes put my iPod on shuffle and use whatever song that comes up as the background. :)

Yes, because one the person is usually going to summarize the events they were just talking about and of course I probably wasn't paying attention so I'll want to get the summarization and also it means the speech is almost over.

That is my clue to wake up and put away my pencils, wipe the drool from the side of my mouth and put on some fresh lip stick.

Best line I ever heard was at my high school commencement.

"The speaker at a commencement is like the corpse at a funeral; you can't have it without him, but it is hoped that neither has much to say."
