fuses looks good,bulb looks good, turn signal work,what could be the problem

have you checked the brake light switch? it will be located on the brake petal at the top of the petal arm. check to see it has power then check the other side as you mash the petal. if both sides dont have power you have a bad switch.

hello and most people get stumped by this there is a switch under the dash that is hooked up to the lever of the brake peddle it is held on with a shaft pin and stud so watch you eyes not to heart your self Pull the pin remove the shaft and also look for on some model a wave washer remove now unhook the electrical..... NOTE make sure your Batterer is disconnected.... go to the part store and match it up before you leave.... Reverse the notes and your done any other Question e-mail me...Robert
P.S. Chuck was close but one side has power and when the switch is compressed the power goes out to the tail lamps this is what is known as Primary power to the switch and secondary power leaving the switch... same on the fuse box Power in is Primary and Power leaving is Secondary. then it goes to the switch power is now Primary into and Secondary leaving...

These trucks have a circuit board which attaches to your taillight. Your bulbs go into this circuit board. More than likely you need to replace your circuit board. They go out alot. Call Brandywine Auto Parts 1-800-638-3446 We have them New for $35.00

could be the backing where the blub is remove it and look at where the light wires connect they brun out a lot on chevy if so you have to get a new bucket sorry dont know the name of it.. but if you remove the whole light and see where the wires plug in it will be there maybe ... also try a new blub or check wires at the tailend
